The number of dollars extra every year it costs to eat healthy per one person. The average day’s worth of the most healthy meals cost about $1.50 more per day than unhealthy meals. Over the course of a year, $1.50 a day more for eating a healthy diet increases food costs for one person by about $550 per year. This presents a real burden for some families struggling with finances just eating unhealthy foods.

That’s the percent of people that plan to shop online for the Holiday season. The estimated average amount that families will spend for the celebratory time is $935.58. In a different NRF poll conducted, over 25 percent of people say the presidential election will affect their consumer plans for the holidays. But 43 percent say they are being careful with their spending due to the uncertainty of the election season.
