“I spent a week in a hospital for some mental health issues. It was scary to me because I wasn’t with my family, and I was with strange people, but I did learn a lot of things about myself and about life in general. It was also scary because I’ve never been to a hospital over night before, and plus it was in a psychiatric ward, so that was even more scary.  You see all these shows like ‘American Horror Story,’ like the asylum and stuff. I thought to myself, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m crazy’, but it is what it is. I got through it. It was worth it, though, being able to take the opportunity to get there and to grow and get better as a person because obviously we are going to college pretty soon, so I want to be happy and healthy in order to live my life like I want to.”
