This is my first year being on the Uncaged staff. However, I have always had an underlying passion for writing. The importance of news reporting cannot be emphasized enough. I prefer writing opinion-based bylines in order to share my views and perspectives on society as a whole. Journalism is more than a class. It is a work ethic, a lifestyle and vigor that allows me to express ideas that matter.
