Offensive lineman Jeffery Machleit lines up and gets down and ready to block at the payoff football game against Ida High School.

Having to win their last game of the season to even get a chance to play in the playoffs, the varsity football pulled off an unexpected win. They beat Parchment after going into half time losing 7-22. The student section rose, passes were caught, and tackles were made making the final scored 50-34. The Panthers scored 43 points in the second half alone.

“It feels incredible to have an opportunity that very little other players have been able to take advantage of,” Cade Wright said. “ It gives me a chance to play the game that I love for one more week.”

The Panthers played in the playoffs on Friday, October 28. They played Ida, who had an 8-1 record and lost 14-42.
