The Panthers bowling team has been preparing for the season with tons of team and individual practice including late nights at the alley and bonding with each other in and out of practice. The Panthers had a pretty successful season last year and are looking forward to doing even better this year, so far they are definitely in the right lane to achieve their goals this season with a home win against Carson City.

The Panthers took all 30 points holding their opponent to zero to take that game under their wing to start their season right. Senior Mason Keen had a very solid performance bowling a 224 and a 136 beating both his opponents.

“We did well as a team, we all won our games, so it was a good way to start the season,” Keen said.

The Panthers have a team that consists of mostly seniors with five girls and five boys who are talented athletes with passion for the game.

With new coach Nate Keen, they are hoping to have a very solid season. Coach Keen has been super influential to many of the athletes.

“He focuses on more than just our scores and more on how we can improve, and what he can do to help us reach our goals,” senior Madison Gipe said.

The Panthers will continue to fight to take down teams and reach to achieve their personal goals.

“We hope to reach regionals as a team, and states as individuals,” senior Charles Porter said.
