Leni Lassnig
Leni is a foreign exchange student spending her senior year at Stockbridge. Originally from Germany, she attends a school back home with a student population similar in size to Stockbridge. One major difference she noted is that in Germany, she travels with the same class throughout the school day. She also shared that teachers tend to be more strict, but students are allowed to use their phones during the day.
Leni enjoys playing volleyball in Germany and earned a spot on Stockbridge’s varsity team this year as a hitter. She also likes weightlifting and spending time with her friends Amy, Lina and Esra. Outside of school, Leni has three fur babies named Bruno, Margo and Maggie and expresses herself through music, especially on the piano. Her favorite song to play is “Interstellar.”
If she had to describe herself in one word, Leni would choose “open,” saying she’s always willing to try new things. While she’s still deciding which college to attend, she’s confident in her goal: she wants to become a surgeon.
