Somewhere, a child is walking around without shoes everyday. Clothing, a basic necessity in today’s society, is more accessible to some people than others.   Simply posting a picture on Instagram with a hashtag is a popular way to spread trends, but it could have a greater purpose.  From May 5 to May 21, TOMS shoes donated a pair of shoes for every Instagram picture that was posted of bare feet and the hashtag “#WithoutShoes” to a child in need.

While people all around the country participate, local students participate in the movement with bare feet.
