Eighth grader Hailey Howard fixes the bilge pump and rex servo motor on a robot that can pick up salvage from underwater, take samples and help clean up the environment for the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) underwater regional competition that the underwater robotics team will compete in over the weekend of April 21-23 in Alpena, Michigan.
