On November 9, the leadership class organized a blood drive with the American Red Cross. Out of the 63 eligible students at the school, 53 participated according to teacher of the leadership class, Corey Baird, who has hosted the blood drive at the high school since 2000. Seniors Madeline Battle and Karlee Fillmore coordinated the event. Juniors Destiny Allard and Jessica Taylor learned the ropes of how to run and coordinate the drive for future donation dates.
