A 30-year citizen and 12-year Township Council Trustee, Ed Wetherell has dedicated the past few years to serving his community. Before retiring and moving to Stockbridge, Wetherell lived in Riverview, Michigan working as a heavy equipment operator and fireman.
“I love this town and the people,” Wetherell said. “They are the best part of living here.”
Wetherell and his wife, Betti, have resided in Stockbridge for around 30 years. In that time, they’ve met all sorts of community members.
“I’ve met so many good people while living here,” Wetherell said.
Wetherell has been a Township Council Trustee for the last 12 years. He has participated in countless community service projects, including delivering meals to elderly folks who needed assistance during COVID-19.
“My favorite memory here has been serving on the council,” Wetherell said. “Serving your community is important.”
