Last year, the Stockbridge bowling team had a conference record of 13-3. This year, they are looking for even more improvement led by senior captain Cheyenne Calhoun.
“I’m looking forward most to seeing Cheyenne get a second shot at qualifying for states,” bowling coach Nate Keene said.
Last year, Mason Keene won the MHSAA individual state championship, making it the first bowling state championship in Stockbridge High School history.
“Our expectations for this season are to keep growing Stockbridge bowling, get better and have a great time,” Keene said.
Both the girls and boys team had their first match against Coleman on December 11th. The girls team won with a score of 26-4 and boys won with a score of 30-0.
The bowling team has their second match on December 18th at Stockbridge Bowl.
