Update: Wilson Talent Center in Mason on lockdown

Around 8:23 a.m., the Wilson Talent Center in Mason MI was put on lockdown.

This link is a message from Wilson Talent Center’s principal,  Jeanne Farina, stating that there was a person with a “weapon,” and the threat was “isolated.”

Around 9:15 a.m., according to multiple student sources, the lockdown ceased.

UPDATE: Multiple student sources said they were told not to get on their phones. Stockbridge High School principal Jeffery Trapp said that this could be a good way to handle an actual threat.

“When you are on your phone, misinformation could be spread,” Trapp said. “You don’t wanna spread information that’s not true, It could cause alarm and rumors.”

No new information has been released at this time.
